Argon Gas
an inert, non-toxic gas used in insulated glass units to suppress heat flow; also an effective barrier against noise transmission; 3.3 times heavier than carbon.

Krypton Gas
very dense inert gas used in insulating glass to suppress the transmission of heat flow; also an effective barrier against noise transmission; 6.98 times heavier than carbon.

Spacer
material that separates the panes of glass in an insulated unit.

Super Spacer
structural foam made from a blend of silicates and moisture-absorbing desiccant materials manufactured with millions of tiny insulating air pockets that conduct heat at a rate over 950 times lower than aluminum and 85 times lower than stainless steel; it is the premier "warm edge" product on the market today; Visit SuperSpacer

Triple Pane
an insulated unit made from three panes of glass; can be made all clear or with up to two low-E coated lites with argon or krypton filling; very energy efficient glass option.
